Halloween!! Spookyboo time!

Halloween decorating is just so, October!!  You get to celebrate the entire month!  We pulled together a few decorating ideas to help get your house looking really scary.  Well maybe not really scary, but fun scary.

Best place to start, the entryway of course!  We used  pumpkins collected over the years and lined the stairs.  Grab some inexpensive autumn greenery to fill in around the pumpkins and you have a full fledged indoor pumpkin patch.

Entry Way_

Side board in the entry way is covered with a table runner from Potterybarn.  It does a nice job covering the top and just add MORE pumpkins and a few candles and done!  Use a battery operated candle inside the pumpkin for light.

Happy Halloween!

Next, the dining room.  We used a spider web runner on the table and laid out a spooky tree centerpiece.  Both came from Potterybarn. The bats hanging from the light were purchased from Hallmark.

About Siobhan Sheehan

The name, Urban and Upscale, goes way, way back. Its beginning hinges on a gal named Eileen. Born in Maine, Eileen moved to New York during the depression and grew up in the Bronx. Ever ahead of her time, Eileen was always, the one to lead the way in fashioning her home and her surroundings. Her style, her wit and her ability to make a home out of the most meager of surroundings was the envy of the neighbors. Eileen didn't just create a home, she created an urban nest for her brood. When the decision came for me to "name" the company, I went back to my roots, Eileen. I am her youngest and to me she is and will always be, Urban, Upscale and Fashion Forward.
